let's just do a recap and call it good.

Jase Graduated 4yr Kindergarten in June he went to school 3hrs a day four days a week. He had a blast and did great. He loved his teacher Ms. Randell.
And so the summer began...

We had originally planned for a trip to Arizona the end of July. In order for me to be there for the Musical Wicked that my mom had gotten us tickets for. However the end of June Josh uncle passed away and Josh and I thought he should really be there. The airline tickets prices were pretty high ($800 each ), Josh was able to rearrange his already planned vacation. And so we left the next day for Az. We decided that I would stay the entire month of July so I could still go to the musical as planned and I would just head home the beginning of August. And in a span of 24hrs. we made work and pet arrangements, packed the car and had a tune up for the cross country trip and also packed me and the kids for a month long stay. It was actually alot of fun to just throw it all together. No drawn out planning and slow packing.

We had so much fun and were able to see so many family and friends while we were there. And wish we could have seen so many more good friends. I am hoping to make Az a fun annual summer trip. ( I know crazy to go back there when the weather here is so perfect)

The days were filled with water parks, splash pads, parks, pools, movies, QT drinks, cousins,Chik-fil-a, Sonic slushes, Aunts, Uncles, Grandmas, Grandpas, chasing Neko the cat, teasing/torchering their much older uncle Bryndan and of course the HEAT. I am pleased to say not one of my little ones burned or even got pink for that matter. Having had so many sunburns I knew i didn't want to boys to be miserable, so everyday included a rub down of sunscreen.
(some of the pictures are duplicates...oops)

WICKED was Amazing!!!! my favorite Broadway musical use to be Phantom of the Opera, But oh has that changed. I Loved Wicked sooooooo Much. Seriously i think i am borderline obsessed with it now. Josh has been traveling to the east coast almost monthly and he has even looked into all the details for us to go and see it New York on Broadway in the up coming months. Thank you so much Mom for making it such a great night, Brie and I had a great time. Our other sister was suppose to go but since the show happened to fall on a Sunday, she opt. not to go. Mom was able to purchase 4 more tickets to the completely sold out show for another date. So that we could all still go together. But that day happened to be the same day Jerrae and her husband we leaving for a vacation. So we posted the tickets on craigslist and went on with our original plans. We listen to the soundtrack in the car and at home and Kadin and Jase have most of the lyrics to "popular" down even with all the little personality tid bits that are in the song. And Josh loves that they will totally blast the radio with him and his music yet still love to hear and listen to musicals.
I am really not good at taking pictures. Only after the fact do i realize that I didn't take any pictures. So if any of you took pictures while we visited email them to me PLEASE! :)

New Do

While in Az this last time I chopped it off.
I've always had long long hair and with each kiddo I've gone just a little shorter and this is the shortest. I guess if I lived in Utah or Arizona I would have the "Mormon mom bob" but in Wisconsin it's just a new do.
I love that now I actually have to do my hair , and can't rely on just pulling it back for a quick pony tail .

Bad Blogger

Geeze it seems that all my post include several posts wrapped into one gigantic post. That I try and breeze through and not include to many detail that are not interesting and pointless because of the length of the post.

Included in this post are....
Surprise trip to AZ.
Camping
and Varsity growing and growing

A few weeks ago was my sisters (jerrae) baby shower for baby#2. She had for some reason been begging me to come out. I kept replying that I had waited to long to get a decent price on a ticket, so I wouldn't be able to make it. What NO ONE knew (except for my sister brie) was that I had already purchased my ticket. Josh knew that if I didn't go, on the day of the shower I would be moaping around wishing that I was in Arizona and regretting not going, so he made up my mind for me and got the ticket to AZ.

Seriously I don't know how brie and I kept the secret from everyone for more than two weeks.
Brie told my mom that she had a girls night party with some friends from her church and she would be home around 10pm. My mom went out to Buckeye and watched her kiddos. instead of a party (which never existed) brie came to the airport and picked me up. When we got back to bries house she went in and starting talking with my mom, I quietly entered and put Varsity on the floor hoping she would start crawling towards the living room. Unfortunately I had just woken her up so instead she staring crying. Mom could figure out how Brenleigh had gotten out of her crib and how she could be crying in the hallway. So i walked around the corner and definitely had her SURPRISED. We kept the surprise going for Jerrae until her shower the following night. Brie and I had so much fun!!! It also ended up that I was there for Easter. The little girls (Brenleigh and Varsity) got to spend there first Easter together. And they were so cute together.

After dinner at my moms Brie, Bryndan, mom, and I had a blast dancing. Bryndan loves to swing dance and was trying to teach me (I do better at cheer routines). The next day brie and I had fun hanging out together, we met my brother for lunch at Johnny Rockets, picked up Joey (brother-in-law) from the airport, had dinner with my mom. And then Varsity and flew home. Az was so much fun and I can't wait to go back in a few weeks for my brothers graduation.

CAMPING
Since we live here in the oh so lovely and cold Midwest, with no family. Josh and I have decided that once a month we are going to take the boys(and girl) camping or something for the weekend.
Two weeks ago we headed north to Fond du Lac, Wi. to a KOA Kamp ground. (growing up when making the drive from AZ to Chicago that where we would stay along the way. And boy do I have fun memories of those trips)
That weekend was Perfect. the weather was so nice it was the opening weekend for this camp ground to hardly any campers it was like we had the place to ourselves. The boys had a great time playing with the camp owners kids. Our little Cabin was right next to the playground and giant inflatable jumping pillow. As we were driving home the boys kept asking when are we going camping again.
May is a little busy but June we are looking at going over to Michigan, camping and possibly seeing some of the people from Josh's mission. One of my good friends from high school now lives in Michigan and just had her first baby, so maybe we can stop and say congrats!

VARSITY
she's 9 months and soon to be 10 months on the 11th. (ha ha 9,10,11)
Anyways at her last check up she was 90% for her height and 5% for her weight. So it looks like she's still hanging on to being my tall skinny girl, Model, Volleyball, or an awesome back base for cheer?

  • She is super crazy, very active and always going somewhere.
  • She is a very speedy crawler, crawls up the stairs to find mom, brothers, or just to play. And has recently discovered by turning around she can go backwards down the stairs again to find mom, or brothers.
  • Has figured out how to climb up on top of the train table(in the toy room) but doesn't know how to get down
  • She stands very well on her own and now is taking 4-5 steps at a time then stands a claps for herself.
  • She loves moms cell phone and is even a bigger fan of my laptop.
  • Is drawn to every open bathroom door. (gotta try and keep those darn things closed).
  • Is definitely a water baby. I think she is going to have a blast this summer in aunt Brie's pool.
  • Has decided it is way more fun to spit bubbles at mom and dad with her baby food than to eat it. And eats pretty much anything you put in front of her. I guess it's not eating more like gumming. Baby food is now being phased out.
  • No teeth yet. Not even a glimpse of one.
  • She doesn't mind wearing this on her head, hats, headbands even those annoying cone shaped party hats with the elastic. She wore it for an hour at a friends party the only reason it came off was because it wouldn't fit in the car seat.
  • Thinks dad is an OK guy but mom is way better!

So that's my wrap up sorry for all the needless details. Now enjoy all the random and out of focus and out of order pictures.

HEALTHY KIDS!!! it has to be the Jones side

Kage and Kadin both had their three year check up today.
Here my little 3lbs 12oz and 4lbs 2oz preemie twins couldn't be healthier.
when I called to make their check up appointment yesterday, they had to look back when their last visit was because I couldn't remember when the last time either one needed to be seen. The nurse replied with "April 7th 08, exactly one year ago tomorrow". Holy cow! growing up in my family the nurses @ the dr's office knew my mom by her first name, knew our family and even made friends with nurses at the office. With Jase and his 5yr check up, had he not of broken his arm last year it would have been a year in between visits as well.

So like the title says they must get their kid health from the Jones side. Definitely not the Holman side. And while I'm bragging about the boys health...Baby V is also right in with the pack. She did have some fluid behind one of her ears to she got some amoxicillan just to treat it so that it didn't turn into an infection.
As for the boys Kage...30 lbs 15% for Weight and 30% for height
Kadin 34 lbs 88% for weight and 75% for height

don't feel sorry for little Kager. what he lacks in overall size he makes up for in aggression. And he already knows how to make his size work for him with the ladies/girls.

Have you ever seen a Dinosaur Fly?!

If you have three little boys
A Dog leash
and an banister at the top of your stairs...

you just might turn the corner and see a "spike" dinosaur fly.

I know I know

We had visitors.... It was sooooo much fun having my mom and sister come out and of course Brenleigh and Grady. Grady my almost 2yr old nephew now knows me as the aunt with "nanny" aka Candy! I know how to get the kids to know who the Fun Aunt is! Yeah I gave into candy as a pre breakfast snack. I know, horrible but he was on vacation and the boys had another boy in the house that they were determined to teach how to climb the shelves in the pantry. (bad idea to have a nice size pantry w/ a door that they can close and scale the shelves looking for the sweets on the top). I was also successful in getting brie hooked on D.P. Since she's been home she now craves dr. pepper and Grady wakes up asking for Candy. Oh the fun I will have this summer when I go back for a month. And then I have a new inductee-STATTON. Josh had fun taking them to some of our favorite places to eat. I don;t think I cooked one meal while they were here. (mom and brie I really do know how to cook and I do make dinner)
Anyways the reason for the visit, The Vinyl Party was good and several people stop by and place orders. So again that was exciting. Now we are looking forward to other people hosting a party and get more people to know about our little company.
OH and the "girls" both waited until they were together to go and get their ears pierced. Now they are all girl!!!! I love it.
posting more soon I hope. But for now here are a few pics. of the visit.

The boys loved playing with cousin grady. Kage and Kadin were so cute with him, Kage would just walk up to him out of the blue pat him on the shoulder and give him a hug and then go about what he was off to do. Jase loved playing with Baby BrenLeigh. Even though he has a baby sister already he had so much fun laying next to bren and cuddling, kissing and talking to her. I Love my sweet boys.
Varsity I don't think sat still long enough to realize we had company. She was and still is constantly on the go. Speed crawling around the house and going up the stairs.
When I try to sit her on the ground to play with a toy she goes right into crawling. the girl NEVER sits still. But why would she, she has three brothers she is trying to catch at all times.

I'm Alive, but the computer wasn't

Sorry for the extreme lack of posting!
there is so much to catch up on I seriously don't know where to start.
My Laptop got very sick, josh crashed it in hopes that maybe it work again. Well it worked enough for you to think it was working and then in the middle of doing something or just as it was logging into the Internet it would freeze and just chill. The computer would still be running and acting like it was trying to do something.....but it would stay that way for hours.

Josh order me a new laptop through his I.T department (thinking he might get a good deal) after week and half of no computer coming in he talked to the I.T guys never ordered it. AAAAAHHHHH. So had to wait another week. Now it's here but I am trying to catch up on everything else and everyone else. But my sister is getting aggravated that I haven't posted. OK so now I have the laptop and can re-upload pictures to it right?... Nope this "new" computer doesn't have and SD card slot. WHAT THE HECK? ok no big deal I have the special computer adaptor for my Sony camera. ( I say special because it is not like a normal USB cable, Sony has some weird connector). Oh but as you may remember we got a puppy, and I have little boys that thought this cable went to their tv in their room. and during some night that lovely little puppy decided to chew the cable. And not just chew but completely remove the "sony" special adaptor part. So now I have all of these events and stories to update about and no pictures to upload. so until I get a new cable your imagination will have to do.

UUhmm.
Ok so Brie and I started our own business. Labren Designs selling custom Vinyl, bows, tutus, and baby leg warmers. We have our own website and it has a store on it so you can make purchases through the site. Yea how exciting. My mom, brie, brenleigh, and grady are all coming back to Wisconsin this Friday I am SO EXCITED. They are coming back cause brie and I are having our first Labren Designs party. ( again very excited yet way nervous and just want it to go well ). So if anyone of you fellow bloggers are in the area this coming weekend stop by on saturday for the open house.

On Sunday the twins and I celebrated our Birthday . Oh my goodness I can't believe it has been three years since I spent those 2 incredibly long months in the hospital. I wish we had all known about blogging back then it would have killed more time. I can still remember starting my day watching the TODAY show, then onto Regis and Kelly, then 3 tv's Noon new, then usually A Baby Story, then DR. Phil, Then OPRAH, and then Good Evening Arizona I would think "All right I made it through another day". then I would watch whatever night shows were on. For two weeks it was the Olympics. ( my day time programing changed during that time too, I would watch all those winter events that no one really gets to see.) my sister Jerrae would call and talk to me and I would give her the Medal count update it was pathetic how much I knew about those winter games. Anyways maybe when I get the cable I can upload some of the boys hospital pics. and do one of those trips down memory lane of all they we went through.

Ok one last thing, at least for this post. it's gross but it has to be posted. Varsity has master the stairs. If she's that I have gone up stairs or sees the brothers headed up to the play room. She goes following. Today while jase was at school the boys (twins) were playing in the play room and varsity came to join them. I went in my room to start getting ready for the day. after a little while i wen to check on her, and found the boys in their room. I asked
me---"hey where's sister"

boys---" in the play room"
( I turned around to see that the play room door is closed)

me--- boys you can't close the door on her, she can't get out
(open the door)
I see that the puppy is in there with her. oh crap he is in her too
(the puppy like to have accident in here, I don't know why)

I see my baby girls two fists full of fresh dog....
AAHHHH
I run to pick her up as quick as possible, only for her to try and get more into her mouth.
(so sick)
I get her to the bathroom wash her hands, get anything and everything out of her mouth, take the clothes off, put her in the bedroom with the boys, put the dog in the laundry room. And proceed to clean and disinfect the toy room.
Dr. said that was pretty much all I could do no worries kids are kids and eat dirt and other stuff that have dog..... on it. YUM!!!
( I had just taken the dog out 30 min prior to this where he did ALL of his business.)
