LONG OVER DUE

Josh got the chance to experience Wrigley Field for the first time on CHICAGO CUBS OPENING DAY!!!

One of the companies that he does business with found out he was a cubbies fan ( because that's who his wife likes) and got him opening day bleacher seats.

All last year ( while I was still in AZ.) different vendors he worked with offered him tickets but he kindly past them along to other guys he worked with. He said his first time at Wrigley he wanted me to be there. ( thanks babe)

The game weather was definitely not ideal. Raining ALL day everyone thought the game was actually going to be canceled. Luckily it did actually get started and then delayed a few innings later because of more rain. So it was cold, WINDY, and raining but it was opening day and my cubbies so it was still fun. To bad they couldn't pull off a win, but since this post is sooooo late it isn't really bothering me seeing as they are in FIRST PLACE! We only have 141 games left 'till the end of the regular season so we'll see if they can hold on for a few more months.

Our View From the Bleacher seats

The power of ZOOM on a camera.... the picture above this one is a true view of where we were sitting. This picture is one of the Ernie Banks Statue presented to him at the game (banks is the one with the blue cap on and the statue is next to him) this was up by home plate, I think 300-400 feet from where we were sitting. It's hazy because of the rain and fog.

First pitch ( a little blurry, I was freezing so the hands were shaky)

So much for a sunny baseball game. This is what the sky looked like.

FUN, FUN, FUN, Even with no sun

We recently were able to go with the Griffeth and Sproul families to try out a new indoor waterpark resort that opened up about a month ago across for six flags in Gurnee (Keylime Cove) They have four huge slides coming out the side of the hotel and after many twist and turns they go back into the hotel. So all the kids were way excited about where we were going. Tanya had a great idea to bring along one of the young woman/Kaitlyn and she watched and played with the younger kids in the different areas of the park making it a very enjoyable time for the kids and Adults. After a few ( 5 hrs) of play we headed to our rooms got the nice and tired kids ready for bed and then the adults went out to dinner while Kaitlyn watched the kiddos for us.

The next morning everyone was up early headed for the breakfast Buffet and then off for another 9 hrs of play in the park.

Jase
Jackson
McKenzie

It was so cute to watch these three play they would wait for each other to come down the slide and clap for one another. then they would all run together and do it all over and over again.

Jase, McKenzie, and Jackson

Kage was attached to Kaitlyn, and she was great with ALL the kids.

McKenzie taking kage down the slide

Kage and Kadin playing

And then took turns crashing, all this fun is hard work.

Brain and Josh with the boys in the hot tub, what manly men!!!

Brian and Jackson----Josh and Jase standing on the Bridge right before 250 gallons of water spills out of a giant Pineapple onto them.

Big Boy Beds

So in order to get preperations going for our new arrival in only a few short months. The boys are now sharing one room with bunk beds. Freeing up Jase's room and that will be the little girls room. Everytime they go to sleep either for a nap or at night it's always a new sleeping arrangement as to who is sleeping where and with who, but at least they are sleeping and are usually pretty excited about going to bed. YEAH!!!

it's A ????

Ok I went into the ultra sound not wanting to find out what the sex of the baby is. Josh on the other hand was convinced that he was going to find out. When I got into the room I told the Lady that I didn't want to know what the baby was so she wouldn't slip up. At the end of the scan the she asked "ok you don't want to know what it is right?" ( the whole time aside from needing to pee extremely bad, I kept looking to see if there were any objects in the pictures that had been in my other baby ultra sounds.) Josh spoke up right away and said yeah I want to know, and I somehow agreed to let him find out. I turned my head a away from the screen and watched him. The lady typed it on the screen, and with the straightest face I've ever seen Josh make he just said OK like it was no big deal. The results were put in an envelope for me just in case I later wanted to find out. Once we were done I let my friend Tanya know we were on our way over she also wanted to know what I was having. It happened to be that our other friend Melanie was at her house as well. When we got there I went towards the back were the kids were because I didn't want to see or hear any ones reaction. Once they knew they call me out, and then wanted to know why I didn't want to know. I Just wanted the extra anticipation of not knowing, and not that I would have been disappointed if it was a boy, but the hope of having a girl would still be there. After talking with them for a while I broke down, I wanted to know. Knowing that Josh, and two of my closest friends knew, it was only a matter of time I would want to know what they knew. So Tanya's daughter McKenzie read me the note from the envelope. "Congratulations you got your girl". I know kind of a long story but I love how I found out! Anyways I'm way excited and so is Josh he was hoping for a girl too. Now I can start shopping!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Growing Up every birthday we had a "Happy Smurfday" sign, my mom bought it when I was about 2 or so for those of you that remember SMURFS, they were all over the sign. Well it lasted through the years even 'till this day it still goes up on Family members birthdays.
So I am trying to do the same thing, a cheapy Happy Birthday sign (not as cool as the smurfs though) And I don't see it lasting even a year the "B" has already fallen off.
Jase' 4th Birthday Party was at Chucky Cheese. We had to do something Fun and inside for this birthday. We've been so spoiled living in Arizona being able to have our Family/Friends over for BBQ Birthday Parties in our nice big backyard in Januray and March. However living in a lovely cold climate now where on the day of the Party it was a warm 4 degrees with a wind chill of -20. Indoors and lots of room was a must.

Jase and MoM with some of the many Balloons!
Thankyou to all of the friends (parents) that brought the kids and Families you guys all made the party SO MUCH FUN!
Here are some of the Kids eating, It was hard to get them all in a picture. There is just way to much to do at Chucky Cheese, Pizza, Games, Rides, Cake, yikes where to begin or slow down....

We didn't really have a theme to his party, but at the store I let him look through book and pick out which one he wanted. Since there were no "car" cakes Thomas was the next choice. The little Thomas train actually moved on the track on the cake.

This is Jase' piece of cake, notice only the frosting was eaten.

A few Friends from the party... Alissa, John, Jackson, Jase & Simon

Not pictured... Gabe, Sara, Jacob, Alex, Tyler, Issac

9 pizzas, 30+ drink, a full sheet cake, 100's of tokens (some that still need to be used) and A TON of way cool Presents. The Party was GREAT!Jase is already asking for another party with the "MOUSE"(chucky)

1,2,3,....

" 4 "

We found a while ago I am Unexpectedly EXPECTING kiddo #4! (and as of now it is only one this time.)
he/SHE will be arriving in July.
I am still determined not to find out with this one. I want to go for the totally surprise. Hoping for the girl, and knowing I won't have anything girl I still want the Surprise. I'm not really in any better situation for a boy either. Seeing as I gave almost all of my baby toys and baby stuff to my sister for her little guy. And then sold the rest before we made the move out here. I figured I had a few more years not needing it. So I guess now I'll keep my eyes peeled for sales and baby clearance.
Anyways we are super excited!

We'd love to know who all is checking our blog out so we can keep in touch with you as well, and if you have a blog to so we can see what you're up to.
