At least I can say I voted.

My four little ones accompanied me to cast my vote in today's election. They were so good and excited to see what voting was. I think they were expecting it to be this big production, but loved getting a sticker at the end. Then treated with an ALL AMERICAN lunch of chicken nuggets and fries at Mc Donalds.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the next four years will have in store and thankful that all the campaigning is finally OVER.
I just hope the extreme hype will quickly fade.

If we don't want to make this election about race then let's stop bringing race into the election.

BOO who WHO?

I go to take a picture the other day and the camera won't turn on. It's been a little funky lately not turning on right away, but after a few tries it finalyy wakes up and turns on. So I mess with it a little then pop the battery pack in the charger in hopes that maybe it was just reallly dead. No such luck the camera is gone. Josh got me this camera last year for my birthday, and it's nothing high tech or cool put I actually really liked it. the cool feature i like was that it took multiple pictures at a once. ( having active kids this was a feature I used all the time in hopes to get one picture of everyone looking at me, or smiling or not blury). In the below posts you see that I do have little aspiring photographers in the house and one of them could have easliy dropped or done something to it. Jase tried turning it on today he wanted to take a oicture of his brother, now he;s said that it doesn't work but he didn't admit to anything happening to it, I'll just keep on thinking that it was just it's time to go. So no pictures of halloween and baby picture of varsity are at a stand still for now. But oh darn we have our cruise coming up in a few weeks and a visit with az family so it looks like date night tonight will have a dessert of electronic shopping. Electronic shopping is something I hate doing though. I'll think it is cool and a good deal and then get home and realize that it actually crap and within a few months possibly weeks it will be known as an "old school one" oh well be looking for a future post of an expensive new addition.

What a four year old says. Entry #1

Seeing how I am bad at keeping my blog updated and even worse keeping a journal. I'm using my sisters idea of writing(typing) cute things that my kiddos say or do. so.....

today after picking Jase up from 4yr. kindergarten ( it's actually called that, it's not preschool, and it's not Kindergarten, it's Kindergarten for 4 yr olds) he said

  • Jase- Girls can;t kiss girls, Right mom?
  • Mom- you're right
  • Jase - that will make us sick huh?
  • Mom- yep
  • Jase - But boys can kiss girls and that is good for your heart, Right?
  • Mom - Yeah boys can kiss girls, but only when you are big like mommy and daddy.
(YIKES I hope this isn't a preview of what i'm in for with 3 little boys. Looks like Jase can start dating AFTER his mission.)

At play day today I noticed that Varsity was staring to act sick. I told jase we needed to go home so I could take care of her. On our way home he said that he and "his"daddy needed to call the 'olice (police). When I asked him why, he said they needed to talk to the olice so they could find out who got baby barsity (vasity) sick. He kept saying this over and over. I love how protective he is of her already. I'm sure she won't always appreciate having big brothers. But Josh and I Love knowing that we have 3 boys to watch out for her.

Photographer in training

WARNING!!! all photos in this post were taken by an aspiring photographer. AGE 4
Have you ever gone through your photos or memory sticks and wonder Who took these pictures, and where or what are they of. Well with three little boys things that they shouldn't get into, ie my camera, purse, wallet, gum, pantry( fruit snacks) are often found when the boys are all three working together. Many picture have been deleted but then my sister thought it would be a cute post so... here are a few random pictures I have found that Jase obviously took.

finally catching up there are several new post to read.

First Day of School

Jase Started school this year.

Yes he is only 4, but the school district here as some of the schools that have a 4yr old kindergarten. He goes 4 days a week 8-11am. He is so excited about going to school, for the last two years anytime he saw a school bus he would ask if he could go to school. When I dropped him off, before we got to his door he turned around and waved. Then walked into his class without even looking back. Whenever I would tell him I was going to be sad for him to go to school he would tell me " it's ok mom don't cry or be sad I will be back in a little while". It made me feel so good that he was ready to go, it would have been hard if I had dropped him off knowing he was crying and missing me. I credit his enthusiasm for school to my mom and her 2nd grade class. When my mom taught at a charted school in Phoenix it was great! She was able to take Jase with her while I was in the hospital with the twins ( 2 months prior to their delivery and then 2 months after while I was running back and forth to the hospital). Since then He has loved the idea of school. Hopefully Jase will have teachers as animated as grandma was.

i would have taken the pictures outside, like we did as kids. But unlike in Arizona in august it was raining all day here
